[He answers clearly and crisply, not the slightest bit embarrassed. If he'd been worried about questions, he certainly wouldn't have come to Bruno now. The danger is obvious — or it would be if anything about Bruno was dangerous to him anymore. As it is, he cheerfully accepts what could easily become an interrogation.]
I'm usually worried about that. But sometimes I'm not sure I should do anything about it. So now I'm doing something about it.
I'm not sure that's entirely possible. [Bruno pulls away from the hug some to sit facing Giorno a little better.] I know you don't see it the same way that I do. You see it as a given that I should have a place with you because of all that we went through together and because we are famiglia, but that's not enough, Giorno. My time has come and gone, and you don't need me as you used to.
So, whether you recognize it as one or not, you made a conscious decision that you want me here, and I will always be grateful for that.
