1. I wasn't exactly known for hitting the clubs every night back in Napoli, but I won't break out into hives dancing, Jean. Least of all if it's with you. 1a. I'm just stealing a number of your firsts, aren't I? 2. As long as you don't smoke too close to bed.
1. yeah but you never know sometimes people aren't into that or can't dance or whatever i didn't want to get my hopes up but now i can because you know who WAS known for hitting the clubs back in france c'est moi
1a. yeah it's like we're teenagers all over again will you call me the morning after
2. nah i already had my last cigarette about an hour ago
YEAH she did thank god she bit me on my left hand so half of what she ended up biting was just the prosthetic but like she really bit in deep if she'd torn she definitely would have left a scar
i'm just pouring pure vodka all over it 90 proof always works right
[He types that one-handedly. Another long pause, and then:]
the iodine from my bathroom and rewrapping it now again let's all thank god it was the left hand and not the right especially if you're wearing that lacy shirt the thought of that got me through the dark times that were the past minute and a half by the way
but you know so much i'll ask him later on i was going to stop by later on anyway to bring ridley over to meet his dragon but not anymore she can sit in her tank for the rest of the day
[He sends that out, rereads Bruno's message, and adds:]
gold experience wasn't so painful the last time i got healed by him i mean it wasn't a SEVERED HAND but i dunno i think the cleaning shit just now hurt worse than he did
bruno did you ever reattach a limb is that what this conversation is telling me shit where were you when i was fighting vanilla ice
[Polnareff, this is why Bruno doesn't text you back sometimes, because you go on like this.]
[To avoid getting another "baaaaaaaaaaaaabe stop ignoring me" text, Bruno opts to respond to at least the last...topic? Theme? The last thing. The point is that he's only responding to the last thing before Polnareff can change the subject again.]
A few times. Not every assassination went off without problems or injuries. I can't do anything about internal bleeding, but sometimes hospitals weren't an option and walking around with a zipper for a few weeks was necessary.
you're making fun but if you let it slip and i'm suddenly down my entire left leg i'll know who to blame we're talking about my PSYCHIC DRAGON don't underestimate her
yeah but if i don't believe in her who will your shower, by the way, not mine yours is slightly bigger also if we use yours i only lock out one person, not two
[And that's all she wrote, apparently, because after that, the line goes dead. But the door to Bruno's room is half open, and the shower is indeed running.]
[And yet the suggestion of using his shower instead comes as no surprise to Bruno. Can't imagine why that would be though. Oh, well. A mystery for another time.]
[When Bruno comes home, he doesn't rush to get upstairs and to his room, but he also doesn't deviate from the path from the front door to the stairs to his room. Closing his bedroom door behind him, he calls,]
[Called out, although he's not sticking his head out the door. No, he's still busy testing the temperatures, trying to make it the perfect amount of hot without actually scalding himself.]
[Bruno smiles as he crosses his bedroom. He stops to untie and remove his shoes, his socks getting tossed into the hamper before he steps into the bathroom. He wraps his arms around Polnareff's middle from behind and presses a kiss to his cheek wordlessly.]
[What a neat, affectionate boyfriend he has. The kind of mood he's in, both of those adjectives are compliments. Polnareff tips his head, smiling at the wall, perfectly pleased by that kiss. He's already yanked off his shirt and socks (both of which are on the floor, ready to be picked up post-shower). His left hand is wrapped up tightly, with enough bandages that it becomes apparently Polnareff wasn't exaggerating: Ridley really did tear into him.
But he's not thinking of that now. His boyfriend is far more important, and Polnareff reaches down, covering one of Bruno's hands with his own.]
[Bruno notices the bandages. He trust it was probably a nasty bite, but he also wonders how much of that is because Polnareff was wrapping his hand with one hand. He'll have to convince him to re-dress it later and make it a little neater.]
[But that's for later. Right now, his boyfriend has a neck that needs nuzzling. He separates his fingers some to let Polnareff intertwine them together.]
Well, it did once this guy I'm real sweet on decided to write back to me.
[He sighs softly, squirming a little under those attentions.]
Then he started promising me all kinds of things, showers and dancing and pumpkin carving and lacy shirts, so yeah, pretty big improvement from this morning.
[Which, actually-- hm. He's not quite willing to break away from that nuzzling yet, but now he wants to see Bruno properly. Decisions, decisions, but he stays put for the moment.]

[...Listen. There aren't doctors in the mafia. At least he's not suggesting you just staple bullet wounds like some people (Fugo).]
You might want to talk to Giorno about it. He'd know more about it than I would anyway.
