For some people, maybe. But for me, not really. Too many people where I'm from will look the other way because some have enough on their plates. But there are plenty who could help who choose not to because it's easier to pretend something unpleasant like that doesn't exist.
I do what I do in the hope that someday, no one has to suffer the way they did again. If I start forgetting, then I'll look the other way, too, and then I stop trying to change things.
